update on da teeths

mandie_rw1) Spending all day running round to dentist-y appointments isn't really fun in snow and ice. It also results in no time to finish all of one's homework. This leads to a skipping of the class one did not write one's abstracts for. ...At least I got to sleep in this morning?
2) Good-looking young dentists make the 2 hour wait totally worth it.
3) Choosing between having a completely out-of place eyetooth and getting braces when one is 21 is in fact a really difficult decision. The braces win when one does not in fact have to pay for them oneself.
4) Discovery: Looking at panoramic x-rays of my teeth really freak me out for some reason.
5) This whole individual insurance thing is CRAP. Out of the $1600 it will cost to get my four wisdom teeth taken out, my parents' insurance will pay for two of the teeth. Not the anesthesia or the other two teeth. Because they're not "necessary." I'm lucky, since we can pay the difference, but if we couldn't? Guess those teeth would be staying in! Until they all fell out, that is, from the angle the wisdom teeth are growing in, which will eventually push my back molars out. But who needs teeth?! Ummm, f you, insurance companies. *hates insurance companies with a new-found passion* I really can't wait until I'm out of school and have no insurance for anything at all.
