So! I worked on a very dodgy cap-headband thing for my '20s maid outfit today, out of my very stiff striped cotton organdy. I had to baste all those tiny horrible pleats in place, and my fingers very much resent me right now! I originally planned to make this cap all by hand, but unless I want to be working on this cap for two more weeks...yeah, it's getting machined.
