1844 corset

So...I was only going to finish sewing in the bust gussets tonight. Then I realized that doesn't make for a very exciting post, nor is it worth taking a picture of. So I decided to sew the whole thing together (on the machine and hooray for the machine!) tonight just so I could post about it.

I think I'm going to like it, if it keeps behaving -- and of course, actually fitting. Needless to say, it won't lay anywhere near flat and behave for pictures...that also made it very fun to iron the seams.



In other news, I think it may have finally stopped snowing.
