It's not QUITE that bad yet, but...
Orange slice dress is...not quite half put together? I'm making it take four times as long by finishing all the seams with lightweight twill tape inside, by hand. Rayon seam binding would be better, but I don't have any, so...YOLO. Like I said in the previous post, the fabric's a bit on the stiffer side anyway, or I would have actually bothered to order said seam binding, but as it is I don't think it'll totally ruin everything. I'm poking away at it during lunch hours at school, because I'm just not weird enough already!
Wearing History patterns came in the mail today, woo, so of course Pip had to help me cut out the pieces for the Chic Ahoy outfit. Just to have the aforementioned seven things going at once. (Really I want to keep having handwork bits to bring to school, so this is a totally valid excuse.) I made a quickie mockup of the halter top because the pattern instructions told me to, rather sternly - it didn't fit too badly, although I will have to take three darts instead of two.

Should probably be able to cut the halter pieces out of the fashion fabric (striped linen) tomorrow after work, and maybe get them sewn if I can stay off the internet? Depends whether I can use the same color thread for every project I've got going or not...changing thread color always seems like such an insurmountable obstacle!
Pip, sulking after being told to STOP EATING PINS (he doesn't actually eat them, just pulls them out of the pincushion and drops them on the floor, because he's an asshole):
