surprise! fabric

I really did not expect fabric from India to show up six days from the date I ordered it, but I came home to a package from DHL Express on my doorstep, so, woohoo for fabric I didn't actually need for another month?



Of course, the badminton rackets I wanted to show up within a reasonable time frame for the picnic next weekend are still in China, according to tracking...but I guess we can't have it all, eh?

Fabric is cat nest, y/y?



Now I just have to see what's in the lace stash - if there's nothing in there the right color and quantity I'll start stalking some listings on the authenticlace ebay shop. It's a shame black lace is really not the look I'm going for here...because I still have the vast majority of the two lots of black insertion I accidentally bought from them a few years back. Over 50 yards. xD (Well, I bid on two lots of it, because it's very common to get outbid, and then I didn't LOL.)

NOTHING is safe from his investigative powers, haha! So helpful. I'm very pleased that it both showed up and is pretty much exactly what I wanted! That doesn't always happen, for sure...

I'm not usually a fan of pink, but that's a nice shade!

Thank you! It's funny...I actually quite like pink, but am really picky with the shade when it comes to clothes, so I have very little pink in either my costume or everyday wardrobe. I'm happy this fabric turned up being a shade that I like!

I like sort of dusty rose pinks, but not the Pepto Bismol/ Barbie pinks that are much more common.
