What even is this gigantic allegedly 1898 sleeve
I know there's still a gathered, somewhat full sleeve head by 1898 that's pretty much smoothed out completely by 1900...and I also know I've got little titchy chicken arms...but I believe this would be a bit much on anybody, tyvm. If you're really going for post-sleeve collapse years.
Sleeve straight out of the pattern on the bottom, revised sleeve post-mockups on top.

Also don't look for much picture updating here til after Sunday! I'm using the free time I do have for sewing! I got a large majority of work on the jacket done on Sunday (was hoping to be closer to finished but the silly little collar was being a total dick and not laying flat, so required a lot of steaming and swearing), and if I finish the jacket completely by Weds. night I should still be able to finish the whole thing by Sunday. Just the skirt, then. And it looks like we might get lucky with the weather on Sunday, too, so I'm excited!
