Innnnnteresting
Nov. 11th, 2016 12:26 pmSo those of you who stayed to enjoy the bonfire on Saturday night at Stephanie's might recall that I caught fire very slightly and had to be put out, athough then I didn't see any marks on my dress so we figured it was just an ember gone rogue. Well, I was putting away my petticoat and dress today (they've been hanging out on the line for a few days, oops), and there is indeed a very small scorch mark on the petticoat, but I'll be damned if I can find a corresponding one on the dress! It's a magical fire-conducting dress, apparently.
Also still has one slight red wine mark, but it's not horribly noticeable, so.

When I tried to wash the dress after the Jane Austen festival, I found out it was almost impossible to get the fabric wet. So yes, dresses can be conductive!
