CADD-ing all over the place

I mean, not like it affects any projects I'm working on now- because there aren't any; it's just a bit ineffectual. Why do I get my sewing mojo back when it's completely pointless? Whatever.
Okay. Well, I never did come up with a List of Things To Sew for This Year, because I never stick with it, so it's a bit silly to make one...but then I figured, eh, what the hell, might as well. So here 'tis.
-New Bastille Day outfit for me
-help everybody else with their B-day stuff (it takes enough time to have a separate listing!)
-chemise dress to be worn w/o stays (for A, who flatly refuses to don them again *sad face*...but that means I got to appropriate them for myself *happy face*
-the Tudor gown I totally lost interest in last year, for faire
-actually finish my Moulin Rouge Black Diamonds costume for Halloween- have the sequins and half the rhinestones, now just need the rest of the rhinestones and 3629126348 beads...
-possibly: if I have time, a 16thc doublet, or something. Of really really orange cotton I've had forever. And it's been yelling at me to make it into something 16thc for a reeeeeally long time, but I've been ignoring it, because I don't need it. I mean, I still don't need it...but whatever. I can wear it with my green kirtle, which will be a deliciously obnoxious combination. That's why I want it, really. To be obnoxious.
-also possibly: 1840s outfit for Poe. I mean, it is the bicenntenial, I live in NJ for chrissake, Maryland is not that far away, like so many other costumed outings, I can probablyharass convince M into going too, as she loves Poe, and even if none of the f-list ends up going to the funeral in October, at least that means I'll have something for next year's Jan. Poe event. That was SO not a senetence...Plus I'd like to branch out a bit from my comfy 18thc nest. (Oh, that means a whole new set of undies. Faaabulous. Actually, I don't know; making underwear is a PITA, but still kinda fun. Sometimes. Until I get halfway through and am utterly sick of them. Ah well.)
I'm sensing a theme here...of me really needing to set stricter deadlines for myself, so I actually finish things. On time. Then I won't have to keep going back and saying, "Oh, I meant to finish that..." Eh well. Seems reasonably do-able. Probably won't be, but we shall see.
At the moment, I'm having a distinct hankering to work on the 1840s corset...I'm planning to make the 1844 corset from Corsets and Crinolines. Got to put my Christmas gift to work! Hopefully I can keep this enthusiasm up until spring break, which is actually in about 2 1/2 weeks, so I can start it then. If not, I still want to make myself sew something over break.
/CADD-ing
Okay, enough of that; on to more important things! Like wondering how much I'll be whinging at this time tomorrow...'cause the teeth are coming out tomorrow. Very Excited. Maybe I'll still be all hopped up on drugs. That'll be fun.
