Candy stripe plaid dress progress

Worked on some boring things today, like making piping and leveling the skirt. reine_de_coudre told me it was inadvisable to use cotton tape on my hem so I'm just going to machine sew it to the facing, very obviously, probably in white thread.

Haha. Kidding. Probably.

I also sewed the right sleeve on, managing to match up the wrong seams so that the elbow curve was round the front. Nope, my arm is not shaped like that. Unpick, unpick.

Also, checking the location my ribbon lot is supposed to ship from, I suspect it may be buried under multiple feet of snow at the moment...
