Really, I did; I sewed stuff. No picture proof, as I still have a crap camera, and it's not really all that exciting. (I warn you, in almost every book I read on medieval costume, they called garments different things, so I shall blissfully forge ahead with very-possibly-incorrect and possibly-made-up terminology. I know what I mean. I think.) I need all this done for...errm...sometime in November for a feast the OGL (the aforementioned medieval reeanctment group) will be having; shouldn't be too much of a problem, even handsewing most of it.

Saturday night, I stayed up obscenely late and sewed, because I was home for the night. My machine and I had lovely bonding time. I draped the muslin for my Fairly Generic Medieval Dress/Garment/Thinger- very much needed, as a fair amount of time was spent going, "Oh, is this how gores work? Cool!" So the kinks (hopefully) were worked out, and I'm using the muslin as a Smock/Undergarment-Ish Piece of Clothing. (Didn't do the sleeves, though. I hate sleeves and will put them off as long as possible.)

...Okay, it felt like a lot more work done than it looks all typed out...

:) Thanks; I hope you can finish your Halloween costume as well! I was thinking of doing a new Halloween costume, but it came down to only having time to sew one costume, and I need this medieval outfit more. And I didn't have to buy *much* fabric for it... *guilty grin*
