mandie_rwAnother snow day - they're hardly worth mentioning at this point! Although it was more than usual...about ten inches here. Heavy shoveling...
Worked on the pocket hoops a very little bit...then got very distracted by looking up the Winterthur estate, where we're going for a costume Thing in May. It's absolutely beautiful, and I started thinking of all sorts of things I want to make. And then I didn't want to work on pocket hoops any more!
So I compromised by working on something totally different - the smock for my turkish outfit. If I have anything new for the francaise dinner weekend, I'd like it to be that. Nothing picture-worthy yet, and the thin fabric keeps catching on my rough fingertips, which is annoying. But, onward!
