mandie_rwSaw my friend and her little Suzie today, and actually managed to finish the two little outfits in time to give them to her.
I used Simplicity 2392 and 1813, and only ignored the instructions a little! And flat felled all those little seams. Be proud of me.
Geez, baby dresses are fiddly. I made them in 12-month size, so hopefully she won't outgrow them before it gets warm again next year!
And now I need to figure out exactly what I'm going to wear to Robin's Birthday Bash. If all else fails I can of course wear the Old Striped Thing, but I've had an idea that doesn't involve the mad sewing that the 1880 dress will require. But I've got to go try a corset on to see if it will work, and I had a giant dinner, late. Ouf.
