Anyway, photo progress!



The bodice lining, which ended up just a liiiitle lower cut in the front than I intended, somehow - but it doesn't really matter.

Mostly because of this...

A wildly-stupid-looking clown collar I decided to plop on top of it! That's the cotton/silk mess I've been complaining about on Facebook for the past two days.


All right, it looks better sewn down. It tends to bunch up a little, but nothing a little pulling, huffing, and puffing while dressing won't fix.


And where we are now...gathering up the organdy bodice to fit to the lining. Only the back neckline's sewn, because, Hannibal. (Season finale, was not missing that!) Might try to get that back lower edge sewn down too before I go to bed...

All this initial bodice construction is fairly rough, because there's going to be alllll that fluffy trim at the shoulders, which will cover up my big ugly machine gathering stitches nicely!
