Gettysburg time already?!

I think I said last year that my 1860s day dress would actually be finished for this year's Remembrace Day. I think I lied. Still no hem facing, still no buttons, and still a horrid little collar. Oh well, what can I say, I'm lazy.

And definitely getting a cold. WHY am I always sick for Gettysburg?? "Always" meaning last year as well - but if this is going to be a thing, I don't think I approve.

And the bonnet? Well, I tried to trim it. Sort of. I sewed some lace in it that looks okay, and then was stumped. I don't have a lot of flowery-type things in the stash, and they all look kind of stupid when I held them up to the bonnet. Er. Will have to go through them again tonight. Wellll, at least that's one more row of lace than last year??

Leaving tomorrow in the afternoon, and will be back Sunday evening - so you may get a post then or not, we'll see how much I want to go to sleep!
