...less sleeves

No, no sleeves. I had the weird compulsion to sew beads on trim yesterday, like I said...so I did. Didn't really think it would extend to my finishing beading all 6 yards of the trim, but it did. Huh. And yeah, it took me a long time. I stayed up way too late saying, Oh, there's just a yard and a half left, oh, there's just a half a yard lest, might as well finish...You know how it goes. The beading was far from complicated, but, well, 6 yards is a fair amount.
Oh, the sleeves...? I'll finish them sometime. Soon. Ish.
I had the trim lurking in the Stash for, literally, years. One of those pretty shiny, too-expensive Joann's trims. I honestly don't know why I bought 6 yards of it...or where the heck I got the money for 6 yards of it, but whatever. You shall have fun (with trim), yes?
Anyway, I have overly elaborate plans for a new Ren Faire dress this year ( I was going to save the New and Impressive and hopefully Prize-Winning Ren Faire Dress for next year, as I've got some stuff that'll work for a lower class dress this year in the Stash...but then I remembered I'm planning to be in England fall semester next year, so the New and Impressive Ren Faire dress got bumped up to this year) that I'm sure I'll procrastinate horribly on, and the dress will therefore not be quite finished by the time I need it, as usual. Eh. That's what the trim is for! (end long-winded explanation)

See, just red shiny seed beads that were also laying around forever. Longer than the trim. And which I have really no idea where they came from, but they've been lurking under my bed for, um, years, mixed in with a bazillion other beads (in one of those awfully annoying plastic cases where if it gets upended, the beads all mix together. Hate that thing with a passion). But I was looking at the trim and thinking, hmm, I wanna make it just a little more exciting...without spending money. And voila, those beads appeared.

Yes, him kitteh decided to jump up as I was trying to take pictures. No, go away. Arrgh.
Now I'm going to be very bad and buy some fabric for the NIRF dress (New and Impressive Ren Faire dress, get it? Ahaha. Ha. Okay.) online.
