And with pictures! Double wow! (Obviously I didn't get around to it before going down the shore.) Interesting, that at home I've got all this free time, since it's Summer Break, yet I don't manage to update here nearly as much as when I was at school. Funny, that. Oh well. I'll try to do better. 'Course, after my long-ago last posting, instead of sewing, I ended up going to the library...which meant I took out many books (including a big old 800+ biography of my Beatles...was antisocial and read most of it during the weekend down the shore...loved it, of course) and therefore got no sewing done, but much reading. Perhaps I will manage to sew now...or perhaps I will read some more. Dunno. We'll see.

Anyhow, I've promised you lot pictures of things. Not many things, but we take what we can get.

The Pocket! Wrinkly, from living on my floor for a while, and really not the most impressive embroidery ever, but eh. It's a pocket, nobody's going to see it except me...oh, and the infinite amount of people who can look at it on the internet. Hum.

Oh, and my appy-lologies for the less-than-perfect quality of the pictures...it's been dark and rainy-ish around here for the past couple days.

Cute pocket! I love embroidery... I like the little book you found. :) Reminds me of a poetry book I was given... 1834, I believe.

Thanks! I do love embroidery, but always get distracted by thing of slightly more immediate gratification...like sewing. :)
