People, I haven't yet bought any American Duchess shoes, but the red Kensingtons? I might end up breaking down for those!




Though I daresay I'd end up getting more wear out of the black. Especially if this plot dragoneyes19's hatching comes off... mwahahaha!

They've been catching my eye, too. But I'm really holding off for the Victorian Button boots--the protype is supposed to be out in the fall sometime. Because I would so wear those every day (until I got tired of buttoning them, probably).

Right now, I've got my eye on some pairs of shoes for Teh Big Boat Trip.

I still don't have any proper 18thc shoes, and I've been thinking of getting some for ages - I do 18thc the most, so I wouldn't feel too guilty for getting a pair! Or maybe that's just what I have to tell myself, lol.

Heehee, I went all crazy and blew my budget and bought both - which means I have to be really good this month :) I SO want the Astoria's too, but not until they go on big sale, and by then I may be past doing much Edwardian :)

Hah, I don't blame you - I'm thinking of doing the same, if my next paycheck comes before the pre-sale ends! And I was this close to getting the Astorias, but I can find reasonable approximations of Edwardian shoes at thrift stores/on ebay, which is harder to do for 18thc!
