The I Want Candy sack is officially finished - I even wrote up a blog post on it! (Believe me, that's an actual accomplishment; I'm horribly neglectful of that blog.) It's really nothing new, so if you read here don't feel you have to comment on it again there.

Well, there are some close-up shots of the trim. If you're into that sort of thing.

As for the Regency dress, I got the skirt panels sewn together. Woo. How exciting. I flat-felled all the raw edges because this wool likes to ravel...ugh, I really hate flat-felling seams, but I think I hate French seams more, so. I sewed the first seam on the machine and then stitched the selvage down over it by hand so you won't see any machine sewing - except the seam that was made of two selvages, which I did not bother to cover. Because I am lazy and that would just be stupid.

And if I miss anybody's comment, I'm sorry; LJ appears to be eating my notifications today.
