Hats and shoes
Jun. 16th, 2012 11:07 pmAccomplished today: cleaning out the toaster oven so things don't continue to catch on fire. I'm so productive.
I started fuzing around with one of my cheap straw hats for something to wear with the chemise gown. Not sure whether I want to cover it completely with the blue silk that's hopefully on its way to me right now, or just the underside of the brim...my original thought was just the underside, but it's not very nice straw at all (thank you, Michael's...at least it's real straw not paper!), so...hmmm.
I also bought these shoes on ebay. They're not quite a perfect shape, but Close Enough - and as an added bonus I don't even have to cover them, they're blue already! Mwahaha. Just stick a bow on and call it Good Enough.
Although I'm really tempted to do a bit of painting to make them more fun...
