Well, I went home over the weekend, and in between seeing friends from high school, managed to putz around with all my sewing stuff, yet get nothing really done, and at the same time, do absolutely no homework. (Ah well.) Spent many hours debating with myself on what sewing to bring back up to school...waffled between my kind-of-almost-done embroidered pocket, a nowhere-near-done-perpetually-unfinished petticoat, and one of the many hats I have started and really ought to get my butt in gear on. Of course, eventually I chose none of those things, and decided to rip the panels for the skirt of my block-print polonaise, decide I didn't need to line it, sew the panels together, decide I did in fact need to line it, rip muslin panels to do so, and sew them together. And brought the whole mess back up to school with me. I briefly considered working on the sleeves...but decided to put that off for as long as possible. I hate sleeves.

So hopefully it'll be back to more regular updates around here, now that I have something to actually work on! Yay!

Lol you crack me up... perpetual sewing projects eh? You know, you've inspired me to actually celebrate Bastille day this year too! I think, if I have the time, I'll make a nice little "beginner" Regency dress (since I've never made one but always wanted one.) :) Have fun sewing!
