Tell Me About Yourself meme

because I saw it in a couple other journals, replied to it, and thought, why not? even though I tend to be more of the lurker type myself...


I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. (Some I know too well. You know who you are.) I read your journals, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you for your interest in my words.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...they like romantic comedies and playing beer pong." 

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people whom I know really well. Maybe especially you. Then post this in your own journal and see what gems of knowledge appear.

My current obsession is the thought of moving to Europe for a couple of years. My husband and I have started researching the process and thinking about what we would have to do to make it work. Who knows if we will ever do it, but it's fun to think about.

Well... you know I love to sew.. I've always wanted to have a Phantom of the Opera-esque masked ball, where everyone dressed up... I'm going to make an Arwen costume eventually, along with a "Robe a l'anglaise" and other lovely historical gowns. I'm obsessed with the Disney Princesses. I have way too many crafts I want to try out, like woodworking and tent making. I've got plenty more about me... :)
