I wear funny clothes, part 2

It's been a Sixties sort of week I suppose.
Again, when not looking like a hobo.

Yesterday's outfit.Yeah, I wore that out in public.
Tunic: cotton muslin, made by me
Jeans: thrift store. You can't really see the awesomeness of these jeans, I'll have to post them another time.
Bracelets: Forever 21
I originally made the tunic for a beach cover-up on the cheap (God knows I've got enough muslin in the Stash!), but started wearing it for a shirt as well because it made me gleeful. When it was hotter I'd wear it with leggings. There's crappy-ish machine embroidery around the hem/neck/sleeves as well, that you can't see very well. I want another of these tunics, they're really comfy! Next time I want to splurge and make it out of linen, though.
Inspiration, among others, and unsurprisingly:

(PS: I've got a serious case of Mick Taylor hair, I know. It's fluffy and sad. Annoyingly, that's my hair. I calmed it down a little for the picture...but seriously, all day it looked like this.)

Today's outfit. Back to minis!
Dress and shoes: Ross
Earrings: Forever 21
Headband: some dollar store
Bracelet: nicked from my sister
I have too much crap in my room. God.
No specific inspiration for this one; I just saw the dress in the store and said, OOOOHH, a short, vaguely shapeless polyester dress? IT MUST BE MINE!!
Also, the Google homepage for today makes me happy. Of course it does. =)

Date: 2010-10-10 02:42 am (UTC)Ross is faaaabulous! Nearly all my dresses that I didn't make/are from the thrift store are from Ross! I try on about six dresses every time I go in. It's kind of sick.
And I thought somebody might have some love for the poster and guitar. ;)

Date: 2010-10-11 10:35 pm (UTC)So lucky you have all those stores close by! There are NO Rosses and practically no thrift stores at all on Long Island *dies* Why is everywhere else so wonderful with shopping opportunities, and here is like, the ghetto? ughh

Date: 2010-10-10 02:44 am (UTC)Oh, I wish it were! Nope, it's just from a discount department store; got it a year or two ago. But you've made my day by asking! XD

Date: 2010-10-10 02:46 am (UTC)Yay Beatles indeed! I still find it funny that I find as much inspiration from men's clothing in the late 60s as from women's...I guess because they weren't that different! XD
