Toiles are boring

I finally got up off my fat lazy butt and started toiling the doublet today. (The result of watching Elizabeth I: The Virgin Queen last night. I *heart* PBS Masterpiece Theatre.) And finished, as a matter of fact. It did take me 3 toiles to get all the kinks (hopefully!) worked out, which meant wandering around the house all day in my corset. Fun, especially as it's been raining all day and way too cold for August. Not that I'm complaining, as I like cool weather, but not the best for being in just corset and tank top.

I got all the pieces of all the layers cut out, then I made dinner and ate it, and now I seem to be out of steam, as I'm on LJ instead of sewing. :)
