Only productive thing today was to pop over to the Indian King tavern to go over last-minute details for our dressmaking demo next weekend ("we make things up as we go along, please give us sammiches for lunch, that's about it"). I did figure out what I want to make for a new cocktail dress for the opera next Sunday too - it'll be an exercise in being very stingy with fabric! Planning to mock up the bodice for that on my day off Friday, partly because I'm lazy, and partly because I plan to get the car inspected tomorrow, and who knows how long that will take.
