Yeah I was disappointed with the proposal scene too. Okay, I know Le Fou isn't going to get a tuba on his head in a live-action movie but I was looking forward to mud puddles! Lame.
There's so much hate for the yellow gown, I was like, well, what else can I possibly have to say in a post? Lots, apparently. Hee. But, ugh! Neglected to hate on the white flowered THING in the last scene, where everyone else has on pretty white-grounded prints and then there's Emma in this pseudo-1950s fugly dress that looks less 18thc-inspired than the crappy Simplicity "Colonial" costume patterns! *rageflail*
