Got my Windflowers fabric in the mail today, and washed and dried it (yes, that takes the nice silk "finish" off, but I did that on purpose). I'm so productive. I ended up going with one of the second-choices from the poll - the greenish one. It's teal-green weft and purpley-blue warp, very pretty, and refuses to photograph nicely! Which bodes well for dress photos, haha.

Before my unexpected fabric arrival (I really expected it Saturday), I started hemming the slits in the pockets I cut out the other day, and did two before I stabbed the wrong end of the needle far enough through my finger to make me decide to stop hemming! Then I spent what felt like umpteen hours making paper mockups of late 1820s-30s bonnets, and got the giant-poke-bonnet-type pretty well done, but not the slightly later version where the crown moves to the back of the head. Giant bonnets are damn fussy. So I'm going to finish those mockups tomorrow before I start with Windflowers - otherwise I'll have no idea what I thought I was doing with them.
