boring sewing

Finally finished this bag of Boring Alterations for Other People today, which took a fair chunk of my sewing time. I did cut out the coif pieces though, and got a little bit of one piece hemmed. Using a nice handkerchief linen; it's from fabrics-store.com, and isn't as fine as some I've bought from other places, but for bolt-end prices (that are usually 12" longer than the listed measurements) I'm not complaining!

Sure! :) Anything fairly light weight but not see-through is fine, since most of the coif doesn't even show.

I should edit that to not VERY see-through, since my linen could definitely be called slightly sheer!
