And I (somewhat hilariously) forgot to clip the pompom "stems" on the one side of the CF when I was declaring myself finished last night, which I didn't realize til I was putting the spencer on in the parking lot. Whooooops. Oh well, not driving home and back to do that. Just tucked them under and made the best of it.

Pics not always in the best light, but we didn't have all that much time, and I thought you all would rather have weirdly shaded pictures than no pictures...

POMPOMS.

Sunny pompoms!

Pompoms on a hill!

And then I retied my bonnet and unhooked my spencer and shirt for your more casual "I'm romping in the woods and suddenly I'm hot in my wool" look. Have decided I prefer it closed, but nice to know I've got different strangulation options, here.

A few scattered thoughts:
- If I ever want to make a pelisse (hint: I do), and the weather's cold enough to warrant layers, I will need another spencer, 'cause those pompom are fat. They will have no parts of being hidden under another layer!
- Good choice on the orange ties. I think that bonnet looks awfully spiff with the dark navy!
- Sleeves are never, ever perfect. But they are that long on purpose, I swear.
- Again with the Regency-in-cold-weather...if this ever gets worn outside in cold weather (like, for longer than it takes to get pictures), I'll need a new petticoat. My thin silk one is just not any kind of practical for October!

And now? Lunch! And then starting a new 1920s dress. Ahem, what?
