Got paid Friday, went to Ocean Grove and its antique shops on Saturday and bought gloves and a dress, and took some not-so-good pictures today. The gloves were $3 a pair, and the dress was $50. My family thinks I'm mad for having bought it, no matter how much I protest that it's MY money and I can buy whatever I want with it. (And NO, I'm not getting f#%&#!$ married!) Can't I just buy a dress from an antique shop...anyway, pictures!
There are mosquitoes in my room. I don't like that.
First- gloves! Really unexciting picture of gloves!

Yes, these are bad indoor pictures. No, I do not have a dress dummy. Yes, my room is always a horrendous mess. Any further questions?
The front.
The back.
A closer shot of the front.
The train.
The back again.
A rather bad picture of the buttons on a sleeve.
Front of the skirt at hem.
Hem of skirt again; at the side this time.
The skirt, in my lap, because it's so big.
And, of course, the requisite picture of Willow having plopped his fat butt on the dress when he got the slightest chance.
I actually did do some sewing after my last post- I redid the sleeves on my 16th c. shift. It was the first garment I ever sewed, and as such, needed some help before I wear it again to the ren faire.Yes, these are bad indoor pictures. No, I do not have a dress dummy.
