Shirt: done!

mandie_rwI don't know, two whole days of work on something, you'd think I'd come up with something more impressive! And I'm so not impressed. It is what it is though (and it is done); I do like how the collar looks, and since that's the only part you'll see with the spencer on, I'm fine with that!
Disclaimer: I'm wearing a purple t-shirt and sweatpants under the petticoat, so most odd-looking bulges are from that! Also, scary I-haven't-had-to-leave-the-house-in-two-days hair.
First, shirt by itself.
1/ Yes, those sleeves are unnecessarily enormous. I didn't do that on purpose! They look dopey, but at least the linen's so light I won't have any problem stuffing them into spencer sleeves.
2/ That linen is evil.
3/ Wish I'd had this finished for the Ren Faire...
And with the dress.
While the dress was on, I did manage to mark the hem, so that's also something. Regrettably the trains are up and running again, so no more free sewing days! I'm glad I spent my time on the shirt rather than the spencer, though, because I seriously underestimated how long and annoying it would be to make, and that wouldn't be fun to be frantically sewing on the ride down to the tea!
