19-teens combinations, finished

That's right, I was going to post these!








You may recall I based them - vaguely, at this point - on this pair from Bradfield's Costume in Detail:


Suppose they've turned into "inspired by", really...well, I made them of cheap cotton muslin (budget! Yay!), so I wasn't about to put crazy amounts of work into them. Just some lace and tucks, and call it a day! I'd make some minor adjustments if I were to make them again (like that's going to happen), but they're not bad for completely making it up as I went along!

...yes, I realize they're underwear, and not that complicated. Let me feel good about myself. :P The corset will kill that very quickly, I'm sure!

Thank you! That's the great thing about underwear from that period - just throw some lace at it, and it'll look decent!

Thanks! I was originally going to put more lace on (I got 30 yards of it for free!), but got tired of doing insertion really quickly! That's one thing I will NOT do by hand, ugh.

I am basing mine off of those also. I love how you changed your up though. They are really cute and if you didn't tell us it was based off of these I would of thought they were modeled of another pair. Love the pintucks

Thanks! When I started, I was going to follow the design of the ones in the book more closely, then realized how long it would take to do all that insertion, and said NO THANK YOU. For something that won't show in an era that really doesn't thrill me? Can't do it. :D
