Painted petti progress

I had a painting marathon today, and managed to bang it all out, so tomorrow I can hopefully get all the sewing done on it, and send it out Tuesday. Because dammit I want to sew for me! (I got my plaid ribbon in the mail yesterday and it is FABULOUS; I think bonnet might be next on the list!)

I also finally got around to appropriating a length of wool from the stash for a blanket (aka I pulled out a 2-and-a-bit-yards piece and sewed silk binding to the cut ends and called it done)...because the temperature finally dropped last night, 30* in less than 5 hours. Oh hello there cold weather, gale-force winds, and rain-that-is-seriously-contemplating-turning-to-snow; you'd never know I was walking around the city yesterday afternoon without a coat! I'm perfectly happy in cold weather, but that was rather sudden.
