First project of the year?
Jan. 3rd, 2016 04:14 pmWell, I found a hip-length fur coat on ebay for $25 to take apart for trim, so I suppose I really am going to make that War and Peace-inspired pelisse! So I would really appreciate if we could have some winter weather in February, plz.
My original (albeit vague) plan was to use some pale blue wool I've had for a few years, but the fur looks like it has a reddish tint that I don't know if I like with that light of a blue. Good thing I also have plenty of dark blue and/or red wool to use too...heh. We'll see when it gets here. It's in NJ so I should get it this week.
