Quick update

jennylafleur's lovely Card Party over the weekend (I didn't wear anything new and my camera died, so I'll compile a picture-post eventually...but not now), so spent yesterday unpacking and sort of cleaning up. Back to sewing today!
Yes, the neoclassical dress. I think it'll make for a fabulous set of photos so I'm determined to finish it, haha. Although by the time I do, the wool shawl that goes with it will be completely unseasonable.
Because I'm naughty, I still want something new for Tall Ships, even though I could very well wear the Lizzie Bennet dress. (But it's long, so it won't show off my red boots! And that's the only lightweight cotton one I have. So. Hmm.) I have Plans but need to see what the budget will allow for buying before I go merrily buying any and all bonnet-making-things.
