(no subject)

As I mentioned, yesterday was an awful day, weatherwise. Good decision not to go to Faire; it rained on and off pretty much all day. So hiraimi and I went to dragoneyes19 for a sewing day. Alice and I were determined to force Robin to watch Outlander, as we've been watching it and talking about it since it started. I don't think she hated it too much. ;) We ended up watching all the episodes...it was a long sewing day! We were just having way too much fun laughing, snarking, and making wildly inappropriate comments.

There was some sewing. Alice and Robin were both sewing 1780s for next weekend, but I somehow was the most productive (this is really unusual), making a whole new cold-weather under-petticoat for 18thc stuff, and hemming another piece of the new shift.

I took a chunk out of my finger closing my umbrella last night (ouchie! vicious umbrella!), which meant an enforced sewing break today. Went apple picking with family, got ice cream, and watched the sun set at Red Bank Battlefield. Also ordered my black fabric for the mourning gown, which should ship tomorrow. Hopefully the injured finger is useable tomorrow!
