1912 concert?
Feb. 28th, 2012 01:33 pmI happened to get a flyer in the mail today (er, my mom did, but I stole it!) about a concert being put on that caught my interest: A Very Good Year: Happy Birthday to 1912.
"A historical snapshot of the world in 1912 - the year "Happy Birthday" first appeared in print. Enjoy this amazingly varied centennial program featuring songs and opera composed in that year, heard alongside the world history that informed it."
Friday March 23 at 8pm and Sunday March 25 at 3pm, tickets $25 at the door but $20 if you buy online in advance.
I don't even know if 1/ I can go either of those dates at the moment, and 2/ if I can finish a 1912 dress in time for that (though wouldn't mind giving it a shot!), but I thought I'd put it out there and see if anyone's interested/available those days!
Edit: Okay, I could definitely do the Friday night, but if anybody else could only do Sunday I might be able to shuffle some things around.
