Finished: Cranberry wool gown
Dec. 4th, 2011 04:25 pmPeople, I actually FINISHED something! And wore it to an event! Don't fall over or have heart attacks, now.
Not that there was a whole lot to be finished. But at least it's done now, and I'm reasonably pleased with it.Simple, but pretty - I love the color! And that weight of wool was very nice to have last night; when I got home the temperature was 37F, and it couldn't have been too much higher than that when we were out. I got precisely zero pictures at the event last night, because we were in extremely low lighting all night, and my camera isn't too wonderful with that! I'll steal the few
dragoneyes19 took when she puts them up! I did take pics of the dress on Mable, though, so there's that.

Hope to see you again soon!) at the Peter Wentz Farmstead for a candlelit tour of the house yesterday evening - way later than I was supposed to be, because it's awfully dark out there, and when some car is on your ass it's hard to slow down enough to look at tiny street signs! "Hmm, I think I've driven too far..."
