(no subject)

So, this weekend I seem to have caught a terminal case of Teh Lazies, as regards this Poe outfit, anyway -- this may have something to do with helping host the bridal shower that was today, that was a bit manic (as an example, somebody lost the list that had all the gifts and who gave them, and everyone was searching frantically for it -- finally turned up in the trash can, covered in coffee grounds. *facepalm*) and all the preparation for that. So, yes, the dress is done but I didn't take any pictures of it yet, I didn't even try making a chemisette (will just stick a piece of muslin in the front of my bodice and call it Good Enough!), didn't trim the bonnet at all, and I still have to sew the ties on, which I'm currently taking a break from hemming. Zzzz.

I promise to get at least a couple pictures of me tomorrow, though! Looking forward to driving in that skirt...that's going to be interesting. And it's supposed to be cold tomorrow, so I'll see how effective that mantle is! (At least I finished that.) I'm weirdly excited to see about that. Hah, but I like winter anyway.
