(no subject)

I was fuzing with the materials for a hat to go with my gaulle (which I'd nearly resigned myself to not hating, at least enough to wear it) for a few days this week, but have decided just to let that go. Partly because I don't want to drive myself completely over the edge, but more because I don't think I'm going to wear the gaulle tomorrow after all, unless the weather forecast changes drastically. There's a 60% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow, and I'd rather not run the chance of ruining a silk dress - I do have other things to wear.

Sigh. Hardly ever rains in the summer around here, we're always in a drought, and it chooses tomorrow to (possibly) rain. And the temperature's actually going to be decent tomorrow - 80 degrees. I might end up wearing the gaulle anyway...it's not like there won't be anywhere to shelter if a thunderstorm does come in. *waffles* Will see how it looks tomorrow!
