Sewing: Moar 1780s

What, you thought I wouldn't want to have a mad last-minute sewing project for Costume Con? Psh. Silly you.
The 1790s and I are just not on speaking terms at the moment...I'm sure I'll finish the 1798 gown someday, but that day will not be any day this week! So I decided to drag out something I thought would be more fun, and hopefully not give me fits, like the 1790s were. And I do have plenty of dresses for CosCon (yes, even enough to go all 18thc -- if I wear my not-exactly-impressive first ever 18thc dress), so there's not really THAT much pressure to finish this new dress.
Since the orange and blue dress has me in quite a 1780s mood, this will be another 1780s dress, from some striped silk (whee! stripes!) I had in the Stash. The Beast of course claimed it as soon as I put it down:

We'll see how this goes.
