Yes, I think I do need an 1800 dress, and that we need to get together and dress up and play Regency, Katy! To that end, I've just ordered blue voile and aquamarine silk dupioni for a dress and an open robe (the Janet Arnold one) from fabric.com! I hope they don't run out of the silk before they process my order...I will haz a sad if they do, because that pretty, pretty color just grabbed my attention right away! I mean, it would save me money...

I have no plans to make any more stays this summer, and fully plan to go braless...er, stayless, in this dress. I'm sure a bodiced petticoat will do the job. Is that period? Do I care? Nope.

Bad Katy. Bad! =D

Edit: Annnnd just bought some linen for the bodiced petticoat. Only about $5.50/yd, though, so not too bad!

Yes I do! Seriously, though, that silk was the first thing I saw on that page, and I KNEW it needed to come live with me! Conveniently, I think it'll make a very pretty open robe!

Aww, boo. Clearly stalking > weddings! ;) People just don't understand. Well, have fun! And do you think you'll have a chance to get the Independence Hall tickets before the 25th some other time, since you live in the city and all? If not, I'll just get them online, because I'm lazy.
