things I did today

mandie_rw- Sewed the last channel for reed in the placard for the K Parr gown and put the reed in.
- Bought two comb tiaras at Joann's (one for me, one for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dragoneyes19) and painted mine black. For the mourning outfit, y'see. Gotta have something to artfully drape the veil over. The plate has some kind of large wired concoction that I'm not up to trying...I looked at combs, but all the nice big ones cost way too much. Sale tiara plus employee discount? Yes please. Picture once I'm sure it's not sticky any more.
- I picked up my neoclassical gown again...it's the complete polar opposite of the Tudor dress, and I suspect that's why I gravitated toward it! Just cut the petticoat panels and whipped the edges together, and now i'm about three-quarters done hemming it. I don't know if I'll keep working on it for much longer, as I have other things I need first, but it's been very nice for a break!
