Cairnwood/gold & white dress done...ish

Like I said...needs moar beads. I'm having second thoughts about beading the whole skirt, though. Not because I'm suddenly less crazy or anything (I LIKE beading! It's easy, if time-consuming), but because I don't really love this dress, so I'm flirting with the idea of selling it (no idea to who...er, whom?) and therefore silly amounts of beads are unnecessary. At any rate I need to finish the beading round the back of the waist!
I hardly took any pictures at Cairnwood (because I suck...it was a bit of an"off" night for me, sorry! I haven't been out in ages so my people-skills have gotten rusty) and the ones I do have I'm making truly horrid faces in, but I'll just have to soldier through and post them anyway.

End of the night when my hair was falling down. Actually it was falling down all night. Because I suck at hair. But aren't we a nicely-dressed group?

Check out the beading! You can't see it? Oh...yeah, doesn't show up that well does it?

And hey look - it's a Really Gold Shoe! I used Lumiere paint on this t-strap character shoe, which I think was one of my better choices! Not remembering that I don't have any halfway decent brushes was not one of my better choices. Used what I had, which was a laughably small and crappy brush, which resulted in some rather visible brushstrokes! I haven't put on the finisher yet, so I'm going to invest in a better brush and put on another coat before I do...
Highly recommend painting your shoes, though. Easy-peasy and absurdly satisfying!
