Apr. 25th, 2013 11:57 pmI was off work today (they actually tried to get me to come in today too, but I pointed out to them that would put me at 44 hours for the week, and that is most decidedly Not Allowed, so, whew, I got to keep one day off this week!), so, sewing!
Not a whole lot of time for it, but enough to get something done!
So I guess I decided to make the Lizzie Bennett dress then? I dunno, it seemed the most...picnic-y of the options.
Naturally I managed to cut the back piece out of a part of the fabric where the design was printed all wibbly-wobbly. Actually most of it looks a bit wibbly-wobbly close up, so oh well. I used the bodice pattern from the jumper, just doing a bit of tweaking to make the back piece a little smaller. And obviously it's going to be yet another bib front dress...well, I like them, what can I say.
