Velvet quilted petticoat finished

Well, apologies, but the petticoat pictures are a little anticlimactic! I know it snowed like crazy further north, but here in south Jersey we barely got an inch of snow last night, and by the time I got up today, most of it was melted off. So I didn't bother decking myself out in stays for pretty petticoat pictures, just tied Mabel into the petticoat and hauled them outside. :P

The color's not very true in any of the shots, but I did mention it refuses to photograph nicely!

And...it's a petticoat Woo hoo? It could actually stand to be about an inch shorter, mainly for wearing-under-other-petticoats-purposes, but I'd rather make a new, longer petticoat to wear over it, than pick off the binding and re-bind the hem!
