Fairmount Regency outing
Jul. 9th, 2012 01:19 amBecause I like to plan...
The Fairmount Waterworks/Park outing I mentioned a few days ago...to those of you that were interested, would Saturday 4th Aug. work for you? I was thinking meeting up around 12-1pm to give any out-of-towners time to get in (and also, to give me time to wake up late and do my hair!); let me know if anyone has any objections to that!
I also did mention a picnic...would you all like to do that? The Waterworks also houses a restaurant, if you'd rather do that (because picnics can be a pain), which is a bit pricey but has a nice view!
Or we could do a mini-picnic with just sweets and snacks when we get there, tour some houses, and then do the restaurant for dinner...? (That would be my inclination, but I'm flexible!)
And as for the houses: they charge $5 a house, so I was thinking two or three of them would be a good number, especially as they're only open til 5 (same with the Waterworks - the tour, not the restaurant!), and rushing to tour pretty houses is no fun!
