Now I am officially never finishing those sleeves. The whole thing can go die in a fire. *kicks dress into a corner, whistling jauntily*

Expect the next update here some time in February, since I have nothing to sew and therefore am at a total loss as to what to do with myself. Perhaps I'll take up stamp collecting. Or drinking. That might be cheaper than stamps.

Are we still going to do regency winter wear in center city some time? I've got wool waiting to be made into a pelisse.

I'm not sure! I would very much like to to SOME kind of outdoor winter Regency thing but I don't know if anyone else would, heh. If we do it'll probably be in February.

I'm all for it! I've got the whole outfit planned, though I need to double check that the two fabrics I have in mind for the dress will go together. And decide if I really want to go for purple dress and yellow pelisse. If nothing else, the pelisse fabric is set in stone.

And an additional note - I think we may change the outdoors-y-ness from Old City to Longwood Gardens (which I always feel the need to defend as a silly choice! but it's still got lovely grounds and that huge conservatory!), so keep the wool socks close to hand! :)

I was pretty disappointed! Of course it's better that everyone err on the side of caution, but the weather didn't end up being nearly as bad as predicted - and I'm selfish, I wanted my party! sigh.
