The "aren't you hot in that" is always so funny; yes, of course I'm hot. You're hot, I'm hot, it's 90 degrees and the windows don't open, we're ALL HOT, FFS. We maintained that we'd rather be sweating into linen than having sweat freely rolling down into...places...but I'm not sure how many people we convinced. Fighting the good fight!

1890s into Edwardian is one of my favorite transitional styles! Not too harsh and angular or too droopy, just the perfect place in between. When Robin suggested "Edwardian" I made sure that it would include 1898, just for me, haha.
