Ugh, so many box pleats. I am never trimming anything withbox pleats ever again. Remind me I said that that next time I decide to trim anything hand-sewn with box pleats... Although I did make an excellent amount of progress today when I stopped wailing about it and thinking about how much I didn't want to do it, and just shut up and sewed it. Remarkable, that. I've got maybe 18" left to sew trim on, so one more strip of silk should do it. Whew!

Also, a good mail day (though not a my-new gloves-day): besides my giant roll of plum wool (Mom: "I thought you bought a carpet and was like...why???"), also got my Nasty Woman t-shirt. Thank goodness, now I can properly vote.
