Sack jacket evilness

Rawr. I plan to get some more done on the sack tonight, but I'm taking a break to go on LJ and eat chips, because I deserve it for wrangling the front panels into relative submission.

One side was fairly cooperative, but the other would not stop being wrinkly, in a big bad horrible way. Pure evil! I mean, yes, it's silk taffeta, so a certain level of wrinkliness is acceptable and fairly inevitable, but this was way past that, and it would NOT GO AWAY, no matter what I did. I was starting to get the creeping I CAN'T SEW feeling, when some easing and repinning brought it back to an acceptable level of wrinkliness! Whew.

I'll have you know, I even went and put my stays on at one point, thinking maybe that would help with the wrinkles (not much). Which is irrelevant, because I'm not going to be wearing stays under it anyway! Oh...right.

So, we're up to the Ten Million Pins stage, and now I have to sew it all down and take them out!

Okay, that's my break, back to sewing!
